The project
Schindler Collection is a project that helps keeping the Schindler community alive and thriving as well as to promote RM Schindler’s work, ideas and heritage by extending the collection of quality items linked to the architect. A large portion of the proceeds will go to the organizations that are directly linked to the preservation of RM Schindler’s work that are Friends of the Schindler House (FoSH), the MAK center for art and architecture and the archives department of the Art, Design and Architecture Museum of the University of California of Santa Barbara.
Schindler Collection will launch with the reproduction of two drawings made by Rudolph Michael Schindler (RMS) in limited edition (250 copies) : The Translucent House and a blueprint of the Van Dekker House. They come with certificates of authenticity signed by members the Schindler family.
